Tarry Lynn McMillan, age 69, of Rudyard, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. He was born on February 20, 1957, in St. Ignace, Michigan to Judd and Louise (Gill) McMillan.

Tarry grew up in Moran, Michigan where he met Kathleen at a young age. They started dating in
1976 and they married in 1979, spending 46 years together. He was a devoted husband and
family man who cherished the time he spent with those he loved most.

Tarry dedicated his life to mastering the art of mechanics and many other trades, earning a
reputation as the person others could always count on when something needed to be fixed. His
skill, determination, and passion for his work were evident in every project he undertook, and
he took great pride in helping others through his knowledge and abilities.

Beyond his mechanical talents, Tarry will be remembered most for his unwavering love and
support for his family, cocky attitude and many shenanigans that made people laugh. He was a
constant source of guidance, encouragement and strength, always willing to lend a helping hand
or a listening ear. His kindness, generosity and dependable nature left a lasting impact on
everyone who knew him.

Tarry’s legacy of love, hard work and dedication will live on through his children, grandchildren
and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all those whose lives he touched.

Tarry is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Andrew (Kaylee) McMillan of Wisconsin and
Nicole (Bo) Campbell of Kentucky; grandchildren, Jayden (Elijah), Jacee (Ryan), Jarrett, Javarie
and Braelynn; great-grandson, Kalhen and great-granddaughter making her arrival in July;
siblings, Milton, Gerald, Ricky, Doris, Audrey, Carol and Debbie; many nieces, nephews and
others who considered him dad, grandpa and brother.

Tarry was preceded in death by his parents, Judd and Louise; and 9 siblings.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Family Life Funeral Homes, 24549 S. M-129, Pickford, MI 49774. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 3:00 PM.

Tarry’s final resting place will be at Grace Brethren Cemetery in Moran, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Family Life Funeral Homes for the cost of Tarry’s
services.
