Shirley Louise (Harwood) Feltis, age 88, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, died on August 7, 2026, at the Ball Hospice House in Sault Ste. Marie. She was born May 28,1938, in Sault Ste. Marie, to Edward and Virginia (Woodard) Harwood.

Shirley grew up in the Sault and attended Sault High. She married the love of her life, William (Bill) Feltis during her senior year of high school. Shirley spent 69 happy years by his side until he passed in
2024. As loving parents, they considered their five children to be one of their greatest accomplishments.

Shirley was an accomplished homemaker; her artful creations included sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery projects, and other hand-made treasures. She was an avid home canner, taking full advantage
of the annual home garden. Her generosity and grace will be missed by all.

Shirley is survived by her children, Dennis Feltis of Dafter, Michigan, Kim (Jeffrey) Kallio of Hulbert, Michigan, Joseph (Debra) Feltis of Columbiaville, Michigan, and William (Stacie) Feltis of Brimley,
Michigan; grandchildren, Wade, Eric, Stefin, Levi, Taylor, Jarrett, Tyler, Jordan, Johnathan, and Kurtis.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; son, Vern: and grandson, Christoper.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29 th , 2026, starting at 11:00 AM, at the Brimley VFW Hall. followed by a luncheon. A Celebration of Life will follow at 12:00 Noon.
