Robert N. Erickson, age 89, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 6, 1937, in Grand Marais, Michigan.

Robert worked as a weather forecaster for the National Weather Service. He dedicated much of his life to Masonry. He was a Life Member of Bethel Lodge #358 and a member of many of its appendant bodies, which held a special place in his life. He was also a founding member of the Eastern Upper Peninsula Horsemen’s Association.

Robert was married to his beloved wife, Elna, for 66 wonderful years. Together they raised three sons and built a life filled with family, love, and many cherished memories.

Robert is survived by his wife, Elna; two sons and their families; his late son’s wife and family; and many other loving family members and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his brother, sister, and one of his sons.

Robert will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and family man. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, per the family’s request, they ask that you honor Robert’s memory by voting Republican.
