Obituaries

Paul James Burk, age 68, of Cedarville, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026. He was born on January 17, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Lawrence B. and Rae B. (Kelley) Burk.

Following his retirement, Paul moved to Cedarville in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where he enjoyed the small-town life he had always dreamed of, surrounded by many cherished and loyal friends.

Paul is survived by his siblings, John Burk, Ruth Burk, and Norman (Christine) Burk; and brother-in-law, Tim LaMoreaux.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Rae Burk; sister, Amy LaMoreaux; and brother-in-law, Bob Parham.

A private burial will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Cedar Post Thrift Shop, 362 M-134, Cedarville, MI 49719, which is staffed by volunteers with all proceeds supporting the local food bank; St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105; or the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 406 W. 34th Street, Kansas City, MO 64111.
