Obituary For Linda Sue Turner
Linda Sue (Leask) Turner, age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital in Manistique, Michigan. She was born on May 22, 1960, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, to Edward “Chum” and Shirley (Scales) Leask
Linda was a woman whose greatest joy came from her family. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her love was unconditional and her heart was generous. Her presence brought comfort and warmth to everyone, fortunate enough to know her. As a mother, she was devoted, caring and endlessly supportive. As a grandmother, she brought a special kind of love; one filled with patience, laughter, hugs with countless treasured moments. Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. Her love will continue to live on through each of them.
Linda also had a passion for the game of pool. She loved the fun, competition, and camaraderie that came with being around the pool table. Whether she was playing a friendly game with family and friends or enjoying the challenge of a well-placed shot, some of her happiest memories were made laughing, talking, and enjoying good company while playing the game she loved.
Linda is survived by her children, David (Amber) Turner, Brandi Sturm, and Ronnie (Tiffany Jones) Stebleton; significant other, James Bogie; grandchildren, Ashlynn, Brock, Laila, Nicholas and Aubree; sister, Angie; brothers, Joe (Leask) and Mike (Connie) Leask; brother-in-law, Oscar Orazietti; along with numerous nieces and nephews who will all miss her dearly.
Linda was proceeded in death by her parents, Chum and Shirley Leask; and siblings, Cheryl (Leask), Sharon (Orazietti), David Leask and Mark Leask.
Linda’s family invites family and friends to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M., at Huck’s Pub & Grill, 11358 W. H 40 Rudyard, MI 49780.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Family Life Funeral Homes, 24549 S. M-129 Pickford, MI 49774, to assist Linda’s family with burial expenses.
Though Linda’s family’s hearts are heavy with her passing, they find comfort in knowing that her love, wisdom, kindness, and beautiful memory will remain with them always. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through generations.
Linda will be remembered every time her family stops at a casino, gathers around a pool table or dinner table, shares a laugh, or simply enjoys the company of the people they love.
