Linda Joyce (Rowe) Bellant, age 78, of Naubinway, Michigan, died on October 20, 2026, at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey, Michigan. She was born on November 24, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Earl and Evelyn (Swain) Rowe.

Linda grew up in Taylor, Michigan, where she also attended school. She started her family at a young age and began her working years in a factory, soldering parts. She later spent many years working as a waitress at various establishments, on and off throughout the years. It was during this time, in late 1972, that she met Clifford Bellant at a bar and grill. The two eventually married on October 14, 1980, in Oakland County, Michigan.

In 1981, Linda and Clifford moved to Shreveport, Louisiana, where they spent the next eleven years while Cliff worked for General Motors. Following their time in Louisiana, they retired to Garnet, Michigan, where they made their home for more than thirty years.

Linda was a proud wife of a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

In her free time, Linda enjoyed knitting and spending time outdoors, surrounded by nature. She took pride in gardening and caring for her flowers, finding joy in tending to the things she loved. She was an avid reader in her younger years. She also enjoyed traveling whenever the opportunity arose, especially the trip to the Dominican Republic. Linda loved exploring the outdoors on four-wheelers and, just as much, appreciated the simple comfort of relaxing at home and watching television alongside Cliff. Whether she was out exploring or enjoying a quiet evening at home, Linda cherished the moments spent doing what she loved with the people closest to her.

Linda is survived by her husband, Cliff; daughter, Lora Anne (Josh) Brown of Kalamazoo, Michigan; son, Andy Bellant of Dallas, Georgia; grandchildren, Keith (Katie) Hansen, Kenneth Hansen, Ashley Bellant, Kaylee Brown, and Evan Brown; great-grandchildren, Bickham, McKenzie, and Brayden; and sister, Wanza J. (Jean Ping) Rowe of Chicago, Illinois.

Linda was preceded in death by parents, Earl and Evelyn; daughter, Barbara Mae Wright; and sister, Brenda Grubbs.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Family Life Funeral Homes, 999 S. State St., St. Ignace, MI 49781. A Graveside Service will follow at 3:15 PM at Epoufette Cemetery, 6450 US-2, Naubinway, MI 49762.
