Obituary For Lieselotte Adams

Lieselotte “Lisa” Adams, age 84, of Naubinway, Michigan, formerly of Waterford, Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, with her children by her side.

Born on August 4, 1941, in Heidelberg, Germany, Lisa was the daughter of Maximilian and Wilhelmine Sieben. In 1962, she immigrated to the United States after marrying the love of her life, Barry Wallace Adams, on May 10th of that year. Together they built a warm and loving life, sharing more than 63 years of marriage until Barry’s passing on September 11, 2025.

Lisa worked for Kamar Office Products for more than 20 years, where she was known for her dedication, kindness, and strong work ethic. After retiring, she moved to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, a place she grew to love deeply. She cherished road trips throughout the U.P., often with family by her side, capturing photos of the region’s natural beauty and wildlife.

She is survived by her children, Andrea (the late Gary) Moore, Marie Liskey, Barry (Sue) Adams, Diana Adams, and Christine (Shane) Hester; her grandchildren, Tracie (Christopher) Coombs, Shannon (Tom) Cooper, Christopher (Sara) Liskey, Joshua Adams, Andrew (Sara) Adams, Anthony Adams, and Ryan Adams; and her seven great‑grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Dorothea and Hannelore.

In addition to her husband, Barry, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter and Herbert.

Graveside services will take place Friday June 12, 2026 at 12:00 noon at the Maplewood Cemetery in Naubinway with Betty Smith presiding and where Lisa will be laid to rest beside Barry.

I miss you mom and love you very much. I find comfort in knowing that I got to spend quality time with you in the 5 1/2 months you were near us. Holding your hand and watching game shows with you meant everything to me. I know you are not suffering anymore and you will be next to dad soon. You will always be in my heart as well as dad. Your daughter Marie
