Larry Robert Benoit, age 82, started his heavenly journey on September 2, 2026. He was born on December 8, 1943, in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan, to Robert J. and Marilynn F. Benoit.

Larry lived in Colorado and California before returning to Sault Ste. Marie in 1998 to care for his mother. While residing in California, he worked for many years as a heavy crane operator.

Larry was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was also a car enthusiast and collector who especially loved cars from the 1950s and 1960s.

Larry is survived by his sisters, Cindi, Jan and Cari; and many nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marilynn; and sister, Karol.

Per Larry’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
