David Wayne Terry, age 67, died on August 17, 2026, at McLaren Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan. He was born on July 1, 1959, in Newberry, Michigan to David and Bernadine (Sampsell) Terry.

David grew up in Newberry and attended Mt. Pleasant High School. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Graham Trucking in Dafter, Michigan. David enjoyed spending time with his family.

David is survived by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Jennifer (Cory) TenEyck; grandchild, Cody TenEyck; great-grandchild, William TenEyck; and siblings, Robert (Bobbie) Terry, Shayna Terry and Kathy Rosland.

David was preceded in death by his parents, David and Bernadine; sisters, Sheila and Cheryl.

Graveside Celebration will be held on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 3:00PM to 4:00PM at the East Lakefield Cemetery, in Lakefield Township, Michigan.
