Christine Alexis Burnett, age 35, of Kinross, Michigan, died on June 15, 2026, at her home. She was born on April 27, 1991, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Charles Rogers and Judy Burnett.

Christine grew up in Council Bluffs, where she lived until she moved to the Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, area where she resided until her passing.

Christine was a fun spitfire who was artistic to a fault. She was always creating, whether it was painting, crafting, or renovating her home. Her greatest love and what she would consider her greatest accomplishment was her children, Charliee Kaylee Marie Badger, Jacob Emit James Badger, and Mina Tah’lee Nichole Williams.

Christine’s home was adorned with artistic projects that she and her children would make. You could feel love in every corner of their home.

If you knew Christine (Chrissy, to close friends and family), you knew that she had an off the cuff humor and everyone around her was charmed. A great lover of nature, if there was a chance to be outside, that was where she would be. Christine was passionate about music, and had a strong wanderlust, often fantasizing about taking her kids and being a gypsy. Recently she had engaged in an Improvisation class and would say it was the most fun she had had since she was a kid.

Christine was strong-willed and strong minded. She was energetic, playful, and spent her time doing activities with her children. She cared deeply for others, more than she did herself, and tried to help everyone she met.

Christine is survived by her children, Charliee, Jacob and Mina; nana, Renee Badger; mother, Judy Burnett; brothers, Todd Burnett and James Williams; and auntie, Renee “Tenee” Pilcher.

Christine was preceded in death by her papa, Mark Dean Pilcher.

Christine will be sorely missed by family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to her children’s college fund.

A Memorial Service will take place from 12:00 Noon - 3:00 PM on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the V.F.W. Hall, 401 W Portage Ave, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783.
