Obituary For Adrian John Dutcher

Adrian John Dutcher, age 89, of Cedarville, Michigan, died on July 2, 2026, at the Pennington Home in Pickford, Michigan. He was born on May 29, 1937, in Cedarville to Henry and Wanda (Malkowski) Dutcher.

Adrian was a graduate of Cedarville High School. He continued his education at Western Michigan University, where he earned his bachelor's degree, and later attended Michigan State University, earning his master's degree.

Adrian dedicated his career to education as a mathematics teacher at West Bloomfield High School, where he taught for many years before retiring. He was passionate about helping students learn and took great pride in his profession.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Adrian remained actively involved in athletics throughout his life. He served as an assistant coach at St. Mary's School, refereed basketball games, and umpired baseball, enjoying every opportunity to be part of the sports community. When he wasn't on the field or court, Adrian loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.

Adrian is survived by his sisters, Gloria Henton of Pickford and Marilyn Risley of Pickford, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Adrian was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Wanda Dutcher, and his brother, Thomas Dutcher.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Adrian's final resting place will be at Cedar Cemetery in Cedarville, Michigan.
