MARQUETTE COUNTY, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes
Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Shawn Cory Holm, 41 of Ishpeming, for
possession of child sexually abusive material, child sexually abusive activity, and using a computer to
commit a crime.
Holm was arrested following an investigation which was initiated by the National Center for Missing and
Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the ICAC Task Force when it was learned Holm may have accessed
and shared illicit content on the internet. A search of his residence resulted in digital evidence being
seized.
Holm was charged with 13 counts of child sexually abusive material- possession, 13 counts of child
sexually abusive activity- aggravated, and 26 counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Holm was
arraigned in the 96 th District Court of Marquette on Monday, March 30. His bond was set at $260,000 (10 percent allowed). He is next due in court on April 15, 2026.
