One person Deceased After Traffic Crash in Wexford County

WEXFORD COUNTY, MI: On January 22 at approximately 2:00 p.m., troopers from the Michigan State
Police (MSP) Cadillac Post responded to a personal injury traffic crash on M-115 near S. 45 Road in
Clam Lake Township.

The preliminary investigation indicates that a pickup truck with three occupants was traveling north on M-115 when it lost control, crossed the centerline, and collided with a southbound SUV. The pickup truck
was driven by a 50-year-old man from Tustin. His passengers included a 45-year-old female in the front
seat and a 39-year-old female in the back seat, both from Tustin. The SUV driven by a 54-year-old man
from Ann Arbor.

The 45-year-old passenger of the pickup truck was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other
individuals involved were transported to the hospital for medical treatment

Troopers were assisted by the MSP Traverse City Post, Wexford County Sheriff’s Office, and Cadillac
Fire Department.
