GRAND TRAVERSE COUNTY, MI. On Friday, April 19, 2024, at approximately 11:00 p.m. troopers from
the Michigan State Police (MSP) Traverse City Post stopped a vehicle for a moving violation on US-31
South in Blair Township. The driver, a 44-year-old woman from Kingsley, was looking through her purse when the trooper noticed a medication bottle containing marijuana and a smaller round container with an unknown substance that was determined to be methamphetamine inside her purse. The woman also had methamphetamine inside the pocket of the jacket she was wearing. The woman was arrested and lodged in the Grand Traverse County Jail pending arraignment.
