SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. – The Lake Superior State University athletic department has announced that the women’s basketball games scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 6 against Saginaw Valley State and Saturday, Jan. 8 against Wayne State have been postponed due to COVID-19 protocols.
In addition, the Laker men’s basketball team’s game against Saginaw Valley State on Thursday, Jan. 6 has been adjusted to an earlier start time. The game, which was previously set for a 7:30 p.m. start, will now be played at 6:00 p.m. in the Bud Cooper Gymnasium. Saturday’s men’s game against Wayne State is still scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. start.
A decision on rescheduling the women’s games will be made at a later date.
