William “Bill” Palmer Carrick, age 72, of Brimley, Michigan, died at his home on May 19, 2025.
He was born on April 14, 1953, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, to Benjamin and Marie (Hill) Carrick.

Bill grew up in Brighton and Bay Mills, Michigan, and graduated from Brimley High School. He
was a proud member of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church in Brimley, where his faith and community held an important place in his life.

Bill had a deep appreciation for the arts and was an avid collector. He had a wide-ranging taste in
music and always found joy in sharing it with others. He loved the outdoors - spending time
hunting or riding his four-wheeler down quiet backroads brought him peace and happiness.

Bill is survived by his wife, Debra; son, Dustin (Ginny) Behnke of Wyoming; daughter, Kelsi
(Rick) Palo of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan; grandchildren, Kalie Behnke, Zach Hagen, Nicholas
Behnke, Dax Palo, Van Palo; great-grandchildren, Ryland Foy and Violet Foy; siblings, Gwen
Deuman of Brimley, Mel Fust of Brimley, Becky (Duane “Petsy”) Parish of Bay Mills,
Michigan, Laurie (Reg) Robbins of Brimley, Mary (Al Robinson) Kurtz of Bay Mills, Eileen
(Norman) Cameron of Bay Mills, Chris (Carol) Carrick of Bay Mills, and Suzanne Carrick of
Brimley; in laws, Kathi Carrick, Linda (Dennis) Mayer, Cindy Bergeron, Susan Hagen, Mary
Lou Bergeron, and Ray (Sue) Braydon.

Bill was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Behnke; parents, Benjamin and Vivian;
brothers, Ben (Katie) Carrick, Mike Carrick, David Carrick; brothers-in-law, Glen Bergeron,
Gary Bergeron, and Mark Bergeron.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the St. Kateri Tekakwitha
Church, 12014 W. Lakeshore Dr., Brimley, Michigan 49715. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM to
2:30 PM. The Memorial Mass will begin at 2:30 PM with the burial to follow. A luncheon will
take place at the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Hall following the burial.

William’s final resting place will be at the Mission Hill Cemetery in Brimley.
