Thomas “Tommy” Stevens Jr., age 58, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan passed away on Thursday July 27, 2023, at the White Wiles Home in Rudyard, Michigan.

Tommy was born on December 6, 1964, in Wurzburg, Germany, the son of Thomas and Theresa (Sauro) Stevens Sr. After moving from Sault Ste. Marie to Texas, he finished high school and started working at chemical plants. He went on to work as a painter at Mobly Industrial Painters, and then worked as a mechanic for the rest of his career. About fifteen years ago, He moved back to Sault Ste. Marie to be close to family.

Tommy enjoyed helping others with anything from fixing their vehicles to watching their dogs. He liked taking his dogs, Freckles and Rocky, on walks and loved them very much. He also enjoyed gambling at the casino. He was a very kind soul, and he was always there to help others.

Tommy is survived by his father: Thomas; and siblings, Angela (Steve) Jacobson, Brian (Victoria) Stevens, Priscilla (Brian) Amell, and Barbara Stevens all the Sault Ste. Marie, MI; his many beloved nieces and nephews; and his friend of many years, George, who was like a brother to him.

Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens on Friday August 4, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
