Obituary For Thomas Michael Moss

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Michael Moss, a loving husband, devoted father, and beloved grandfather. Thomas left this world on October 4, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering strength. Thomas was born on April 19, 1959, in Alma, Michigan, to Ted and Violet Faith (Harnick) Moss.

From an early age, Thomas embodied the values of hard work, honesty, and respect for others. These principles shaped his character and guided him throughout his life. He had an incredible sense of humor that could brighten any day and an ability to find joy in the simplest moments and make those around him laugh was a testament to his positive outlook on life.

He was a dedicated father who provided unwavering support and guidance to his children, always striving to ensure they had the best in life. Thomas's sacrifices were a reflection of his boundless love for his family, and his presence will be deeply missed.

Thomas had a deep connection with the natural world, finding solace and joy in the beauty of the outdoors. He had a special love for the Upper Peninsula (UP) and cherished the time he spent there. Whether he was tending to his bees, working in his garden, or indulging in his passion for hunting, his appreciation for nature was infectious.

In his professional life, Thomas enjoyed working with his coworkers at A&L. He was known to be a bit challenging at times, but his warmth and love for his colleagues endeared him to all. Despite his occasional difficulty, he was loved and respected by everyone at work.

In addition to his loving wife, Denise Moss, Thomas is survived by his children; Amy (Eric) Stephens, Wendy (Glen) Beach, Amanda (Chris) Brindley, Patrick Moss, and Tory Moss. His family was a source of immense pride and joy to him. He was also blessed with fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of whom he cherished deeply; brothers, Chris Moss and Bryon (Ruth) Thonsend; and sister, Leanna Morford, who shared in his journey through life.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Faith Moss.

Thomas's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and the enduring values that defined his life.

Rest in peace, dear Thomas. You will be forever missed and always remembered.
