Obituary For Thomas Earl Heck

Thomas Earl Heck, age 60, of Rubicon, Wisconsin, died at his home on Sunday, January 18, 2026. He was born on November 17, 1965, in Hartford, Wisconsin, to Kenneth and Annette (Schellinger) Heck.

Thomas grew up in Rubicon and attended Hartford Union High School. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served. After his honorable discharge, Thomas returned to Wisconsin and began his career with Menasha Packaging, where he worked for thirty-five years before retiring in 2022. Following his retirement, he moved to the Upper Peninsula and settled in Raber, Michigan.

Thomas loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Thomas also enjoyed a good poker game and often spent time back in Wisconsin attending game nights with friends.

Thomas is survived by his daughters, Alicia (Aaron) Bright and Brooke Heck, both of Raber; son, Dylan Heck of West Bend, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Timothy Bright and McKinley Bright, and another grandchild expected; mother, Annette of Egg Harbor, Wisconsin; brothers, Mike (Sharon) Heck of Rubicon and Sheldon (Nicole) Heck of Kihei, Hawaii; sisters, Mary Heck of Egg Harbor and Paula (Scott) Werner of Horicon, Wisconsin; brother, Jeff (Marliss Heinrich) Heck of Friendship, Wisconsin; and sisters, Janine (William) Vanark of Hartford; and Suzanne (Marty) Pankow of Rubicon.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; and brothers, Timothy Heck and Rev. Quinton Heck.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, at 11:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1108 Rome Rd, Rubicon, WI 53078

Thomas’s final resting place will be Prince of Peace Cemetery, in Coloma, Wisconsin.
