Obituary For Terry Lee Litten

Terry Lee Litten, age 72, of Pickford, Michigan, unexpectedly died on August 5, 2025, at his home. He was born on May 24, 1953, in Greenville, Ohio, to Richard and Doris (Sipes) Litten.

Terry grew up in Ohio, where he developed a love for football and was proud to come from a family of hardworking farmers. He was known to his childhood friends as “Baggie”. His father, a World War II veteran and truck driver, set a strong example that Terry carried forward throughout his life. Terry worked as a plumber and later served as Head of Sanitation at Aunt Millie’s Bakeries, where he dedicated over thirty years of service.

In honor of his father’s military legacy, Terry was an active member of the American Legion Post #423 in Orland, Indiana, where he proudly ran the bingo hall. He had a passion for simple joys — fishing, playing pool, bingo, attending the county fair, and settling in for a good Hallmark movie. Above all, he was a devoted fan of Ohio State Football.

Terry is survived by his wife of forty years, Joanne Litten; children, Marc (Jennifer) Litten, Jeremy Litten, Kregg (Amy) Litten, Kendra (Dan) Adkins, April (Alan) Johonson, Richard (Heather) Litten, Amber (Seth Williams) Litten, Michelle (Todd) Geyer; siblings, Robert Litten and Suanne Leichty; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Doris.

Per Terry’s wishes, no services will be held.

His final resting place will be at Green Lawn Cemetery in Versailles, Ohio.

Memorial contributions in Terry’s honor may be made to American Legion Post #423, 6215 N. State Rd. 327, Orland, Indiana, 46776.

As Terry would say, “See ya in the funny papers”.
