Obituaries

Shirley Mae Warner, age 89, of Raber, Michigan passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Pennington Home in Pickford, Michigan.

Shirley was born on January 31, 1934 in Elizabethtown, Illinois to Woodford and Thelma Mae (Brazell) Glore. Shirley graduated from Lincoln Park High School with the Class of 1952. On February 14, 1953, she married Lehman Warner in Detroit, Michigan. Shirley was a member of North Raber Baptist Church for many years, and was a Volunteer for the Election Board in her community of Raber Township. Shirley also helped raise funds for the Raber Township Fire Department for a new fire truck. Shirley had many hobbies, which included sewing, crocheting, crafting, cooking, baking, and fishing.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Lehman; her daughter Deborah (David) Adams of Port St. Lucie, FL; and two granddaughters: Elizabeth and Rebecca Adams. She is also survived by a sister: Sandra Warner of Rudyard, MI.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Glore, her sister Patricia Oliver, her brother-in-law Kenny Oliver and her brother-in-law, Daniel Warner.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 3:00 PM at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Plesscher officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home that same day from 1:30 PM until the time of service. Burial will be at the North Raber Cemetery in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to help with funeral expenses.
