Raymond John Vincent, age 78, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 15, 2025. He was born on February 4, 1947, in Trout Lake, Michigan, to George and Helen (Moon) Vincent

Raymond had a deep love for the outdoors, especially camping and fishing, where he found peace and joy. Music was at the heart of his life, and he was a devoted fan of Johnny Cash. More than anything, Raymond cherished the gatherings he hosted with family and friends—where live music, singing, dancing, home-cooked meals, card games, and horseshoes filled the air with laughter and connection.

Raymond is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Raymond Lee (Contessia) Vincent and their kids, Ashlee, Raymond, Tyler (Melisa), and Victoria Smart, Tina (Brittney) Vincent, Jennifer Vincent, Meranda, Cassandra, Katherine and Toney, Randy Vincent, and Marlena Vincent; sister, Virginia Vincent; nephew (son), Nigel Peltier; along with many other family members and friends he was close with.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen; brothers, George Vincent and Louie Vincent; sisters, Donna Vincent and Irene Vincent; and nephew, Steve Hammonds.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
