Raymond H. Lee, 75, of Sault Ste. Marie, MI passed away Sunday December 18, 2022 at Hospice House of the EUP in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. He was born February 8, 1947 In Sault Ste. Marie, MI to Francis and Grace (Kebshekong) Lee.

Raymond was an avid golfer and a member of Tanglewood Golf Course. He golfed all over the state of Michigan and occasionally in Canada. He was also a member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Raymond enjoyed fishing, gambling, and poker. He worked at and retired from the Sault Locks Corp. of Engineers Maintenance Department. Prior to working at the Corp. Raymond worked for Sault Tribe Construction as a carpenter, brick layer, and roofer.

Raymond is survived by his daughters, Tracey Shannon and RaeAnn Kelly; brothers, Ronald Lee and Richard Lee; grandchildren, Ronald Shannon, Cassidy, Cooper, and Natalie. Raymond is predeceased by his parents; sister, Janis Koszowicz; and brother-in-law, Paul Koszowicz.

Visitation will be Tuesday December 27, 2022 from 12noon until time of the Traditional Services Wednesday December 28, 2022 at 10:00am at the Sault Tribe Cultural Center, 11 Ice Circle Chi Mukwa, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783. He will be laid to rest in the Spring of 2023 at Mission Hill Cemetery in Bay Mills, MI. Raymond's family request's memorial contributions be made in his name to Hospice of the EUP, 308 W. 12th, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783. Clark Hovie Galer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
