It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ralph “Butch” Frederick Rondo Jr. of Brimley, Michigan, who left us on October 24, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on April 7, 1950, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Ralph Sr. and Phyllis Rondo. Butch was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished papa, beloved brother, and a dear friend to many.

Butch is survived by his wife, Sharon, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage since June 23, 1973; his son, Brian (Jennifer) Rondo of Vassar, Michigan; his daughter, Jacquelyn (Jon) Will of Ellsworth, Wisconsin; and his treasured grandchildren, Brayden and Kiersten Rondo, and Adelynn and Larkyn Will. He is also survived by his sister, Tina (Derk) Everts; his brother, Wayne (Jan) Rondo; his brother-in-law Richard Stuhler, his brother-in-law Michael Stuhler, and his sister-in-law Rose Stuhler; and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Butch was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ralph Frederick Rondo Sr. and Phyllis Jean Rondo; his brother-in-law, Ralph J. Stuhler; and his sister-in-law, Anne Marie Stuhler.

Butch’s life was defined by his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He was the heart of every gathering, always ready with a warm smile, a helping hand, and a story to share. His wisdom and humor touched all who knew him, and his legacy will live on in the lives he enriched.

A memorial service in honor of Butch will be held on November 29, 2025, at 12:00 Noon at Saint Kateri Tekawitha Church, 12014 W. Lakeshore Dr., Brimley, MI 49715. Burial will follow immediately at Mission Hill Cemetery, weather permitting. A luncheon will be provided at the church following the burial.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Kateri Tekawitha Church, 12014 W. Lakeshore Dr., Brimley, MI 49715, in honor of Butch’s memory.

As we say goodbye, let us hold close the joy and wisdom Butch shared with us. His presence enriched our lives, and his memory will be cherished always.
