Patricia Mae Tomlinson, age 93, of Drummond Island, Michigan, died on January 6, 2026, at MyMichigan Medical Center - Sault. She was born on April 29, 1932, in Nova Scotia, Canada, to George E. and Margaret Edna (Hennon) Haley.

Pat was one of five children, raised in a lively family of three boys and two girls. She spent much of her early life living in and around Michigan until 1961, when she relocated to California. That same year, she welcomed her only child, daughter Claudia. In 1969, Pat met and married the love of her life, Clarence “Tommy” Tomlinson. They shared thirty-four wonderful years of marriage and made their home in Napa, California, where they created a loving, lively household surrounded by family and friends.

Pat was a devoted member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Napa Lodge #832, which she joined in 2006. During her years of service, she held several offices, including Treasurer and Chaplain, served as a Trustee, and was a proud member of the Inner Guard. Her time as an Elk brought her countless friendships and many fun-filled events, where she was often the life of the party. At Christmastime, Pat could always be spotted proudly rocking her candy cane -if you know, you know.

She was also a faithful member of St. John’s Catholic Church and St. Apollinaris Catholic Church. Pat was a friend, confidant, soft shoulder, and bright smile to everyone she met. She had a deep joy for life, and for people, but her greatest joy was always her family. Bold and brash, with a spirit that sparkled like a diamond, Pat loved a lively gathering and a Jack on the rocks. Her laughter, warmth, and vibrant presence will be dearly missed.

Pat is survived by her only child, daughter, Claudia Tomlinson; chosen daughter, Patty (Steve) Bierwag; grandchildren, Whitney (John Miller) Lemorie, Jordan (Jessica) Wilson, Eli (Melissa) Bierwag, and Tyson (Mindy) Bierwag, Deanna Jurgensen, Dax Van Swae, and Jessie Van Swae ; great-grandchildren, Tristan Lemorie, Makayla Miller, Carley Bierwag, Talia Bierwag, Ruby Bierwag, Bella Bierwag, Elayne Wilson, Maverick Wilson, Cal Wilson, and Juniper Wilson; and brother, Greg (Katie) Haley; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband of thirty-four years, Clarence “Tommy” Tomlinson, sister; Delphine Newnham, brothers; Clif (Carolyn) Haley and Maurice (Margie) Haley.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Patricia’s final resting place will be in Tulocay Cemetery in Napa, California.
