Obituary For Paige Michelle Gammon-Johnson
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paige Michelle Gammon-Johnson, who was called to be with the Lord on June 7, 2025. She was born on September 20, 1994, in Petoskey, Michigan to Cathy Gammon and Greg Johnson. Paige brought light and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. A beloved daughter, sister, and mother, her warmth and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed.
Paige graduated from West Ottawa High School in 2012. She thrived in the company of her family and friends, always finding reasons to laugh and create lasting memories. Her interests were as diverse as her talents. She had a passion for the outdoors, often finding solace in fishing and going on long hikes with her best friend Macy…although complaining the entire hike, Paige still found beauty in every animal and flower she saw along the way. An avid reader, she enjoyed delving into books that transported her to other worlds. Her creative spirit flourished through her love for art and graphic design, where she expressed herself in vibrant and meaningful ways. She was also a sports fan and enjoyed trips to see the Detroit Red Wings and Tigers, cheering them on with an infectious spirit.
Paige was a proud big sister to Ashley and Teagan, and she embraced her role with enthusiasm, always encouraging them in their pursuits and sharing countless memories together.
Perhaps the greatest joy in Paige's life was her beautiful daughter, Hadlee Rae. The bond they shared was beyond special; together, they sang, danced, collected and painted rocks, and indulged in countless other arts and crafts projects, creating a world filled with imagination and fun. Their silly “mommy/daughter” moments were treasures that Paige held dear, reflecting her unwavering love as a mother. Paige's love for Hadlee was unmistakable in every moment they shared, as she cherished the simple pleasures of motherhood and the delight of their adventures.
Over the past recent years, Paige pursued a lifelong passion of playing the drums. She became an integral part of the drumming community, connecting with many fellow musicians through multiple online platforms. Music was a source of joy and expression for her, providing an outlet that resonated deeply within her soul.
Paige's legacy is one of love, laughter, and creativity. She was a friend to many and touched their lives with her infectious laugh, genuine spirit, and kind heart. As we remember Paige, we celebrate her life, her passions, and the love she shared with those around her.
Paige is survived by her parents Cathy Gammon (Robert Herschell) and Greg (Mary) Johnson, her daughter Hadlee, her sister Ashley Johnson, her brother Teagan Johnson, and her grandparents Jacquey (Tom) Pateman. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.
For those wishing to commemorate her life, donations can be made to the Celebrate Recovery Program at Central Wesleyan Church, located at 446 W. 40th St., Holland, MI 49423, an initiative that aligns with her spirit of hope and healing.
Though she may no longer be with us, Paige’s spirit will forever live on through her daughter, her family, and the countless lives she touched. Rest in peace, our dear Paige. You will be missed beyond measure.
