Obituary For Michael John Baker
Michael John Baker, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2025, at the age of 75.
Mike was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan February 4, 1950, and lived there until the age of 18, when he proudly joined the United States Air Force. Marie, MI, before transitioning to work as an Immigration Officer with the Department of Justice. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Veronica Baker; his children, Tracy (Ken) Smeeton-Cormier, Keith (Dawn) Baker, Sheri (Bill) Strempel, Jayne Baker, Ashley John, and Tina McLeod; several grandchildren, Mitchell, Nathan, Nicholas, Nolan, Nevaeh and Noah, who brought him great pride and joy; several stepchildren; brothers, Tim (Judy) Baker, Pat (Carol) Baker; sisters, Pam (Mike) Harris and Debbie (Jim) Wales.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jayne (Miles) Baker; father, Martin Baker; stepmother, Buddy Baker; and brother-in-law, Jim Wales.
No services are planned at this time; however, donations may be made in Mike’s memory to the American Heart Association.
