Matt Roy Partridge, age 70, passed away December 14, 2022, at My Michigan Health Center, in Sault Ste. Marie.

Matt was born on July 8, 1952, in Pontiac, MI to Elmer and Mary Ann (Graber) Partridge. He graduated from Milford High School with the Class of 1970. On July 27, 1973, Matt married Elaine Peasley in Milford, MI.

Matt worked for over 30 years for Gage Products in Ferndale, MI, and later was a Bus Driver for Rudyard Area Schools. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, talking about fishing, and he was a dreamer. He also enjoyed playing softball, golf, and football. In his youth, Matt played semi-professional and professional softball.

Matt is survived by his wife of almost 50 years: Elaine; his daughters: Miranda Partridge of Jackson, MI; Rebecca (Vinicio) Febles of Kincheloe, MI; and Elizabeth Partridge of Kincheloe, MI. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren: Jordan, Jacob, Jaida, Jaxsyn, Jurzie, Jonnah, Vinicio, Ulises “Yay-yay”, and Payton; and his 3 great-grandchildren: Carter, Scarlett, and Emmett. Also surviving Matt is his mother; Mary Anne Partridge of Kewadin, MI; his sisters: Nancy Achenbach of Ellsworth, MI; Christina Partridge of Kewadin, MI.

Matt was preceded in death by his father, Elmer, and his brother-in-law: Kurt Achenbach.

According to Matt’s wishes, no public services will be held.
