Martha A. Reynolds, age 82, of Sugar Island, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Medilodge in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was born January 20, 1941, on Sugar Island, Michigan, to William and Blanche (Maleport) Cox.
Martha had a green thumb and could make anything grow. She enjoyed working in the vegetable garden, canning, baking, and cooking. Martha was a wonderful cook and loved to cook for her family.
Martha is survived by her son, Brian Reynolds of Saginaw, Michigan; granddaughter, Amber Reynolds of Petoskey, Michigan; many special nieces and nephews; and beloved dog Rascal.
Martha is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Reynolds; daughter, Melinda Reynolds; and siblings, Dorothy Schrieber, Thomas Cox, Nelson Cox, Marie Cox, and Charles Cox.
There will be private graveside services for the family and close friends with Father Al Mott officiating. Final resting place will be Riverside Cemetery in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. In lieu of flowers the family request's memorial contributions be made in Martha's name to the Chippewa County Animal Shelter and Dog Park, 3660 S. Mackinac Trail, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan 49783.
