Obituary For Marlene Lorraine Walsh
It is with great sadness that we say our final goodbye to Marlene Lorraine Walsh, age 41.
Marlene passed away peacefully at her home on August 31, 2025, surrounded by her family and
loved ones. She was born on March 3, 1984, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, to Terry Walsh and
Kelly Dane.
Marlene enjoyed riding horses, dancing, music of all kinds, karaoke, camping, and spending time
with family and friends. Any friend was a friend for life.
Marlene was a 2002 graduate of Sault Area High School.
She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Elizabeth Harrison (her father, Joe Harrison). Nicole was
the light of Marlene’s life. She is also survived by her mother Kelly (Grant) Dane, of Sault Ste.
Marie, Michigan; father, Terry (Patti) Walsh of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; brother Matt Dane of
Sault Ste. Marie Michigan; step brothers Dane TenEyck of Sault Ste. Marie Michigan, Paul
(Tasha) Beauchamp and son Kayden, Phil Beauchamp and sons Nicholas and Mikeal all of Sault
Ste. Marie Ontario; Aunt Tracy Dennis and cousins Heather Luke (David) and Dustin Dennis of
Blanchard Park, Oklahoma; Aunt Shannon St. Andrew (Joe) of Cheboygan, Michigan; cousins
Megan and Keely St. Andrew of Ann Arbor Michigan; Uncle Patrick Mason of Kinross,
Michigan; Aunt Susan Martin (Tracy) of Mead, Washington, and cousin Kendra Hansonl (Jesse)
of Spokane, Washington; Aunt Jennifer Dane of Blaine, Minnesota; Aunt Mary (Cliff) Brooks of
Thatcher, Arizona; Uncle John (Marilyn) Walsh and cousins Sherry Walsh, Carrie Bovington,
and Brooke (Cameron) Sayers of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario; and Aunt Jackie Case (Don) and
cousins Liane, Leslie, and Lela of Burlington, Ontario; and Uncle Larry Mason (Ampi) of
McComb, Mississippi.
Marlene was preceded in death by her grandparents Marlene and William Mason, Jack and
Lorraine Walsh, and her Uncles Jesse Dennis, Robert (Barb) Mason, and Charles (JoAnn)
Mason.
A special thank you to friends and family too numerous to mention who provided comfort and
assistance in so many ways.
Thank you to numerous caregivers at MyMichigan Medical Center Sault, Corewell Health in
Grand Rapids, McLaren Acute Rehabilitation Center, and McLaren Home Health and Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to a charity of your choice.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Announcement will be via Facebook.
