Obituaries

Mark John Pulvermacher, age 69, of Brimley, Michigan, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on October 10, 2023, at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan. He was born on December 15, 1953, to Ella Mae (LaBounty) and Albert John Pulvermacher, in Wyoming Valley, Wisconsin.

Mark grew up in Reedsburg, Wisconsin and graduated from Reedsburg High School. He started working at Seats Inc and completed vocational school through a company program. He remained employed there for thirty-five years. Mark met the love of his life Tamie Munz, when she began working at Seats Inc and they began their life together in March of 2007.

Mark enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and gardening. He was an avid sports fan who loved watching the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers during football season. He was a handyman and was known for working with his hands and helping others with odd jobs. He loved dogs and couldn’t stand to see a good dog stuck at a shelter. He rescued several of them over the years. He also enjoyed raising and taking care of his chickens.

Mark was a dedicated father and grandfather who loved his daughters and grandsons and was always proud of them and all their accomplishments.

Mark is survived by his children, Laura Lovelace of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, Christina (Erik) Kube of La Crosse, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Aizik Mathis and Eian Kube; partner of 16 years, Tamie Munz of Brimley, Michigan; siblings, David (Joyce) Pulvermacher of Reedsburg, Wisconsin, Joy Conway of Spring Green, Wisconsin, Jean (Al) Hanko of Cazenovia, Wisconsin, Julie (Ron) Dorn of Reedsburg, Wisconsin; many nieces and nephews; and his Brimley, Michigan family, Mia Munz and Paul Munz.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Mueller; and brothers-in-law, Hugh Conway and Del Mueller.

Memorial contributions can be made out to the Chippewa County Animal Shelter or any other local shelter in need.

His final resting place will be in Reedsburg, Wisconsin.
