Maddie and Buck raised their children with great understanding and an unconditional love. They had a great love for their grandchildren and great grandchildren and truly enjoyed the many adventures with them from their home in Dansville Michigan and their home on Drummond Island Michigan. Spending time in the kitchen to walks in the woods instilling in them their love and respect for life, nature, family values and many other things. Maddie enjoyed being with her loved ones the most. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and being a care giver for her direct and indirect family for her entire life. She also enjoyed many road trips through the states with Buck. She had many stories of inspiration and dedication of persevering through hard times to reach the good times. Many of her stories could make a bad situation seem good and many learned from her wisdom. She will always be an inspiration to always do the right thing even when no one is watching.

She was very well cared for and respected by her “girls” the staff at Freight View and Hospice. They are her and our extended family as well. Thank you from the bottom of her and our hearts. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her!

Celebration of life and service will be announced on this site at a later date.
