Obituaries

Kenneth Wayne Lovegrove, age 66, passed away peacefully at Select Specialty Hospital- Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on April 6, 2024. He was born on December 27, 1957, in St. Ignace, Michigan, to Raymond and Elaine (Burgess) Lovegrove.

Kenneth married Debra Barens on August 27, 1977 and they lived in Dafter, Michigan.
Kenneth worked most of his life as a logger, and spent his later years working at the Algoma Steel Plant and then for Rudyard Schools as a custodian, where he retired after 25 years.

Kenneth enjoyed spending time fishing, and hunting. But most importantly he loved spending time with his wife and their family. He had a great sense of humor, just like his late father.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Debra; two children, Rachel (Stephen) Sheridan and Ken (Sonya) Lovegrove; his four siblings, Richard (Anita) Lovegrove, Donna (Dan) Hartog, Janice (Mark) Bigelow, and Larry Lovegrove; and he was blessed with ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents- Raymond and Elaine Lovegrove; and his brother Phillip Lovegrove.

A Visitation for Kenneth will be held on Friday, May 3rd from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Ozark Grace Brethren Church, 22998 S Church Rd, Moran, MI 49760.

Kenneth's final resting place will be at Ozark Grace Cemetery in Ozark, Michigan.
