Obituary For Kenneth Mark Rundell

Kenneth Mark Rundell, born April 22nd, 1958, in Pontiac, Michigan.

Kenneth Mark Rundell passed away unexpectedly at the age of 67 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, on April 5th, 2026. He resided in Kincheloe, Michigan, with his children.

He was a beloved father of Danaysha Johnson-Rundell, Damarius Johnson-Rundell, and Menomenee Orme, and a loving grandfather of three beautiful grandkids. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert Rundell and Michael Rundell; and sister, Sheila Rundell Stiebler.

He grew up in Commerce Township and graduated from Walled Lake Central High School. After high school, He attended West Shore Community College Ludington and to then launch a self-employed business as a Handyman. He spent years in his hometown of Pontiac, Michigan, where he eventually met Doris Johnson, who he loved so dearly. He then moved to Sault Ste. Marie and had three children with her.

Kenneth attended some college at Lake Superior State University. From there, he worked in a factory for 12 years. After that, he worked at different jobs, but his favorite—and the one he worked at for 15 years—was Reno’s Car Care, which he loved. He found joy in his work and took pride in helping the business in every way.

He loved watching TV, gambling, playing games on his iPad, hanging out with his friends, and being the most generous father to his children and friends. He was a man who loved deeply and put his family above everything. His kindness, strength, and love shaped the lives of those around him, especially his children. He was always there with support, guidance, and unconditional love. His faith in God guided him through life and gave him strength, hope, and comfort.

He was warm, kind, and big-hearted. He loved his plants, going to church, and spending time enjoying life to the fullest even while working. He was always willing to help any person in need even strangers. His soul was so special and selfless. He was hardworking and an entrepreneur.

He was an amazing father and had the most funniest laugh and the most beautiful, bubbly spirit. He liked to joke around and make people laugh. He was a loving son, father, brother, and friend with the kindest soul, who was taken too soon.

His strength, humor, and love will never be forgotten, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled. He will forever be irreplaceable.

His memorial service will be held on May 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the U.P. Revival Center, 66 Cedar Grove Dr., Kincheloe, MI 49788.
