Obituaries

Kellie Jo (LeMaster) Spencer, age 56, of Dafter, Michigan, died on December 29, 2025, at her home. She was born on April 16, 1969, in Manistique, Michigan, to James and Luella (Chase) LeMaster.

Kellie grew up in Manistique and graduated from Manistique High School. After graduation, she attended Northern Michigan University and later completed her associate’s degree at Bay Mills Community College. She worked as a secretary at a law firm for more than twenty years before becoming a store manager at the Shell gas station, where she especially enjoyed talking with her regular customers.

Kellie loved camping, time spent outdoors, and listening to country music, and she was a devoted fan of the Detroit Lions.

Kellie is survived by her sons, James Spencer and Tyler Spencer; and brother, Don (Wanda) LeMaster of Manistique.

Kellie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Luella; and brother, James LeMaster.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
