June Ann Jeffery, age 87, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan passed away Saturday afternoon, January 21, 2023, at Freighter View Assisted Living.

June was born on June 7, 1935, in Sault Ste. Marie to the late Welford and Dail (Stearns) Yon. In 1953, she married Edward Jeffery, Jr. in Sault Ste. Marie. He took her back to Indiana where they lived until retirement. They owned and operated a small business and June found great delight in driving a school bus. She was an avid reader and loved to educate herself. She loved working puzzles and anything antique. June enjoyed her time traveling throughout Europe with her husband while he was stationed in Germany.

June is survived by her dear friends: Jeff and Jenny Peterman and their family.

June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her son: Edward R. Jeffery, III.

A private entombment service will be held at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens.
