Jodie Leigh McConnell, age 59, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, passed away at home on March 7, 2023.

Jodi was born on September 8, 1963, in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to the late Frank James and Judith Ann (Bosley) McConnell. Jodie was a graduate of Sault High School with the class of 1981. Jodi loved animals, especially, her little dog Bella and she enjoyed watching movies.

Jodi is survived by her brothers: Timothy (Barbara) McConnell and Shawn (Angel) McConnell; a sister: Jamie (Blake) LaRue; a sister-in-law: Janice McConnell; and a brother-in-law: and Raymond E. Golladay. She is also survived by nieces and nephews: Jason (Janet), Brigid, Patrick (Jennifer), Michael, Melissa (Mike), Christopher (Sarah) Raymond Jr. (Lisa), Kelly (Scott) Shavon (Jason), Stephanie McConnell, Noel, Bonni (Allan), and James (Allison) LaRue; and many great nieces and nephews.

Jodi was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Terrance McConnell and niece: Jennifer McConnell; and a nephew: Craig LaRue. Also, her dog: Bella passed away with her.

A memorial service will be held at a later in the spring.
