Janice Marie (Davis) Smith, age 68, of DeTour, Michigan, died on September 19, 2023, at home with family by her side. She was born in Hayti, Missouri, on January 23, 1955, to parents Ernest D.J and Bonnie (Dodd) Davis. She married Lester "Ed" Smith on November 1, 2022, and the couple spent many loving years in the Upper Peninsula.

Services for Janice will be held at McAlpin Funeral Home in Sneads, Flordia, this coming Sunday, September 24, 3023.

The final resting place will be at Pope Cemetery in Sneads, Florida.
