Obituaries

Gwendolyn Carlson, age 83, of Eckerman, MI passed away on February 18, 2023, at the Hospice of the EUP – Hospice House.

Gwen was born in Canada on May 26, 1939, the daughter of the late Terrence and Christina Hare. She graduated from Cooley High School with the class of 1959. Gwen enjoyed snowmobiling and working outdoors in her yard and in her garden. She loved to collect small stones and then do various crafts with them.

Gwen is survived by her husband of 63 years: Edwin A. Carlson; two children: Robert Carlson of Commerce Twp., MI and Rebecca (Dan) Littmann of Highland Park, IL; two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother: Gordon Hare of Wellston, MI.

Gwen was preceded in death by her parents and a son: Richard Carlson.

No public services will be held at this time.
