Obituary For Glen Henry Lemon
Glen Henry Lemon, age 72, of Pickford, Michigan, died on January 22, 2026, at his home. He was born on September 17, 1953, in Madison, Wisconsin, to Stanley and Harma (VonHout) Lemon.
Glen was born in Madison, and his family moved to Rudyard, Michigan, when he was young. He graduated from Rudyard High School and continued his education at Western Michigan University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Glen went on to work for AAA as an underwriter, and during that time he met and married his wife, Robin. Together, they moved back to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, where Glen began a career with the Michigan Department of Corrections, serving as a Resident Unit Manager until his retirement.
Glen was a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts Troop #122 in Rudyard, and an Eagle Scout himself.
Glen enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, and he was an avid football and hockey fan, especially when it came to Detroit teams. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren: watching his grandson, Christian, play hockey for many years in St. Ignace, and cheering on his granddaughter, Alyssa, as she danced, sang, and cheered.
Glen is survived by his wife, Robin; children, Allen Tibbs of Baroda, Michigan, and Jaime (Bryan) Corp of Ypsilanti, Michigan; grandchildren, Christian Bradley, Alexis Tibbs, Alyssa (Dean Driggers) Bradley, Marra Norris, Jerid Norris, and Tessa Wise; brother, Daniel (Angie) Lemon; nieces, Gina, Amber, Brenna, Becky, and Shannon; and nephews, Stan, Mark, and Shaun; and many great-grandchildren.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents, Stan and Harma; and brothers, Robert Lemon and Ted Lemon.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
