Obituaries

Donald (Tim) Thomas Morgan, age 86, of Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Ball Hospice house in Sault Ste. Marie. He was born on May 14, 1938, to Craddock and Anna (Bilkovic) Morgan.

Tim and his former spouse, Judith, had four children. He moved to Mio, Michigan, from
Lambertville, Michigan, in 1978. He appreciated the more rural lifestyle there and worked as a
realtor and a bus driver for Mio AuSable Schools until he retired in 2000. After retiring, Tim
moved to Sault Ste. Marie where he loved visiting the local casino to play the slot machines and Bingo. He loved his grandchildren and when the holidays rolled around, they could count on him making his special Christmas treats including fudge, “church windows” and “Santa Claus Favorites”.

Tim took great pleasure in feeding and watching birds. He always kept his feeders full of seeds
and peanut butter, particularly for his favorite visitors, the hummingbirds. He eagerly awaited their return each spring, often preparing for their arrival weeks in advance.

Tim is survived by his children, Mark (Carol Acker) Morgan of Anthem, Arizona, Roderick (Katie) Morgan of Allendale, Michigan, Jason (Ginger) Morgan of Sault Ste. Marie, and Eric (Sheree) Morgan of Temperance, Michigan; twelve grandchildren, Matthew, Jamie, Brandon, Lacey, Kiley, Collin, Bethany, Grace, Simon, Aaron, Paul, and Clare; and two great- grandchildren, Camdyn and Leo.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Craddock and Anna; and his brother, Reece Morgan.

Following his wishes, Tim was cremated and a private memorial service for the immediate
family will be held in Mio this summer.
