Obituaries

Diana Nancy Baragwanath, our beloved wife, mother, grammy, and aunty, peacefully passed on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 1st, 2025, at 4:18pm. She was born on August 16, 1947, to Domenic and Anna Cirigliano. She is sorely missed, but remembered fondly as a lovable, friendly, funny, helpful, and caring lady. She was a devout Christian and a member of the Fundamental Baptist Church.

Diana loved to volunteer and help others. She had a servant’s heart and did what she could for those in need. Over the years, she volunteered with various schools, churches, and other organizations such as the Ball Hospice House in the Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

Diana also enjoyed cooking, baking, and quilting. She made many things well but will be remembered most for her spinach pie, lasagna, poor man’s pastie, and saffron bread. Diana was also a member of various quilting groups. She has left a fine legacy of much cherished quilts she made for family and friends over the years.

Diana is survived by her husband, Clyde Baragwanath; children, Nick (Carrie) Baragwanath, and Jenny Baragwanath. She enjoyed the blessing of her grandchildren, Kacey McFarland (Miller), and Sam Baragwanath; as well as her great-grandchildren, Oakley, Willow, Joshua, and Alder.

Diana was preceded in death by her mother, Anna (D'Ambruoso) Cirigliano; father, Domenic Cirigliano, and brother, Michael Cirigliano.

You are welcome to join us for a family gathering/memorial service, which will be held on June 14th, 11am-3pm at the Armella Parker Senior Center, 12485 West Lakeshore Dr, Brimley, MI 49715.
