Denise Tracy (Pelletier) Wayno, age 61, of McMillan, Michigan, died peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, May 28, 2026. She was born on December 22, 1964, in Detroit, Michigan, to Elaine Frances (Pelletier) Walker.

Tracy grew up in Detroit's Cass Corridor and Northwest Detroit neighborhoods. She later lived in Twining, Michigan, before making her home in McMillan in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. She was the oldest daughter in a family of six children and cherished the close bonds she shared with her siblings.

Tracy was proud of her Native American heritage and held a deep love for God, her country, and her countless beloved fur babies.

She was a faithful member of the Twining Baptist Church.

Tracy found joy in spending time near the water and especially loved walks along the beach. She enjoyed lighthouses, watching sunsets, and seeing freighters pass by. A devoted fan of the Detroit Red Wings, Tracy rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on her favorite team. Her appreciation for nature's beauty, hockey, and life's simple pleasures brought her great happiness throughout her life.

Tracy is survived by her life partner, Jeff Anderson Sr.; daughters, Angel Wayno, Natasha Wayno, Leanna Wayno, and Lynn Wayno; grandchildren, Colton and Paisley; brothers, Ron Przeadski and Dan Pelletier; sisters, Michelle Pelletier and Dana Cazabon; and brother, Shawn Walker.

Tracy was preceded in death by her mother, Elaine Walker.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at Twining Baptist Church, 410 Main Street, Twining, Michigan 48766. A Memorial Service celebrating Tracy's life will follow immediately at 12:00 Noon.
