Clara June Boudreaux, age 88, formerly of Brimley, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2026, at Freighter View Assisted Living in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was born on June 3, 1938, in Sault Ste. Marie, to Alfred and Clara (Murphy) Cook.

June graduated from Sault Area High School with the Class of 1956. In 1958, she married Edward J. Boudreaux. They shared 55 years of marriage until Ed’s passing in 2013.

June worked at Lynn Auto Parts for thirty years before retiring. Before moving to Freighter View, she was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Brimley. June and Ed enjoyed spending many winters in Louisiana, Ed’s home state.

Before her health declined, June enjoyed golfing, camping, and quilting.

June is survived by her sister-in-law, Lois Cook; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her dear friends, Roberta, Sharon, and Wanda, who provided her with friendship, kindness, and loving care during her years at Freighter View.

June was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward; son, Edward Jr.; parents; sisters, Betty Lou (Bob) June and Beverly Jean (Sam) Hensley; and her brother, Mort Cook.

In accordance with June’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.

June’s final resting place will be at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens in Bruce Township, Michigan.
