Carole Lynn Haislip-Rambo, age 77, of Pickford, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026 at Hearthside Assisted Living in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Carole was born on July 29,1948 in Highland Park, Michigan, to Robert Warren and Louise (Wolfe) Haislip.

Carole attended Bloomfield Hills High School and graduated with the Class of 1966. She went on to pursue her medical training at the Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, where she became a certified Physician Assistant. She practiced medicine for most of her life and was passionate about raising her two sons.

Carole lived a full life with lupus and embodied resilience, positivity, and the drive to jump in with both feet and get it done. Carole touched many lives and will be remembered as a proud mother, grandmother, sister, friend, farmer, and medical practitioner.

Carole is survived by her sons, Mark (Dauvan) Rambo and Steve (Rileigh) Rambo; grandchild, Aiden Rambo; and sisters, Penny Kinsman, Tess (Gary) Nelkie, and Cathy McGraw.

A private cremation service and memorial gathering have been arranged though Family Life Funeral Homes - Pickford, Michigan.
