Calvin Brian Odbert, age 33, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, died on September 10, 2025, at his home with family by his side. He was born on March 19, 1992, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to John and Judy Odbert.

Calvin grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and graduated from Sault High School. He was known for his sense of humor and his ability to make everyone around him smile. Always full of life, Calvin had a gift for turning everyday moments into lasting memories.

A talented musician, Calvin loved playing the guitar and listening to music. He was also an avid hockey player and lifelong Chicago Blackhawks fan, as well as a proud supporter of the Detroit Lions. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, and kayaking.

More than anything, Calvin treasured time spent with his beloved son, Levi, who was the center of his world.

Calvin is survived by his son, Levi Odbert; mother, Judy Odbert; siblings, Cory Odbert and Brian Lee Eitrem; nieces and nephews, Corie Odbert, Miles Odbert, Sully Odbert, Hadley Eitrem, and Kohen Eitrem; cousins, Will (Erika) Odbert, Jaxson Odbert, Virginia Odbert, Terra Chancy, Al Odbert, and Nick Odbert.

Calvin was preceded in death by his father, John Odbert; and grandma, Joanna Sams.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later time.
