Bonnie Rose (Dyal) Wise, age 67, of Drummond Island, Michigan, passed away on February 2, 2026, in Petoskey, Michigan. She was born on March 22, 1958, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Bruce Wilson and Patricia Joan (Dyal) Cloudman.

Bonnie grew up on Drummond Island, where she attended Drummond Island Elementary School and later graduated from Sault Alternative High School. In 1978, she met the love of her life, Alan Wise, and they married in April of 1983. Throughout her working years, Bonnie held many roles in our community including, preschool teacher, teachers aide, 4-H coordinator, and candymaker. Bonnie found her greatest joy in being around children and was most passionate as a school bus driver.

Bonnie enjoyed traveling, especially to Alaska. She had a deep love for crafting, including quilting, crocheting, and sewing. She loved to crochet stuffed animals and would give many away at the craft shows she attended just to see the smiles on children's faces when they received them. She had a love of puzzles, many of which she glued, framed and sold.

Bonnie is survived by three daughters, Jennifer (Mike) Guigley, Megan (Clay) Inman, and Kezia (Scott) Wise; five grandchildren, Keegan Guigley, Drake Guigley, Joel (Angel) Pratt, Grant (Andrea) Plowman, and Naomi (Cameron) Gulick; two great-grandchildren, Cali Pratt and Barrett Plowman; and siblings, Sherri Frazier, Thomas (Jan) Dyal, Jewell (Robert) Doering, and Gordon (Suzanne) Cloudman.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Patricia; and husband, Alan.

A Memorial Service will be planned for the spring of 2026.
