Anthony Joseph Hubbard, age 67, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023, at My Michigan Medical Center.

Tony was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan on August 20, 1955, the son of the late James and Kathleen (Desormeau) Hubbard. He graduated from Sault High School with the class of 1973. On July 21, 1990, he married Cami McKee at the Soo Locks Park.

Tony grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and lived there nearly all of his life. He was truly one of a kind and he was known for his sense of humor. His jokes and antics were unmatched. He made everyone that he met smile. Tony loved people and family and he will always be remembered for his contagious personality.

He was a hard worker in the construction trade most of his life. He was an excellent craftsman who owned his own business, Hubbard Interiors. Tony worked on many projects in and around Sault Ste. Marie.

Playing hockey and being a musician was Tony’s passion. He will always be remembered for his talent playing the drums and scoring goals on the ice.

Tony is survived by his wife: Cami Hubbard; his children: Christopher Hubbard of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, Lindsey (Louie Ramirez) Hubbard of Arizona, and Curtis Hubbard and Sydney Hubbard both of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; and his grandchildren: Sophie Hubbard, Halen Hubbard, and Ezra Ramirez. He is also survived by four siblings: Penny (Dan) Pepin and Pete Hubbard both of Florida, Sara (Mike) Zimmerman of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and Kathy (Carmine) Bruno of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.

Tony was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings: James Hubbard and Debbie Hubbard.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 28, 2023, at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home. Friends may gather at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the time of the service. A celebration of his life will follow the memorial service at the Merch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to Hospice of the EUP.
