Alexander Emerson Teeple, age 34, of Strongs, Michigan passes away at home on March 25, 2023.

Alex was born on December 8, 1988, in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. He attended Brimley High School and Ojibwe Charter School. He was a proud member of the Bay Mills Indian Community. Alex worked various jobs but love working as a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed collecting rocks, his dog: “Maize”, working on cars, and trapping rabbits. He was willing to do anything for anyone. He loved to shovel snow for the elderly.

Alex is survived by his mother: Faith Teeple of Strongs, MI; five children: Shadow, Cassidy, Rocky, Brianna and Kyllah; three sisters: Jackie, Lee, and Esther; a brother: Joshua; his biological father: Alex Easton; a grandmother: Theresa Teeple; and many aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Alex was preceded in death by his father: Wayne Teeple; two brothers: Nathan Berkland and Lindsay Waite; grandparents; Lyle and Pauline Hopper, and Emerson Teeple, and his biological mother: Cathy Teeple.

An evening ceremony will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at the Bay Mills Cultural Center (West Tower Road). A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at the Cultural Center.

Another memorial service will be held on April 8,2023, at the Community Bible Church in Strongs at 11:00 AM with a meal to follow.
