Alpena Man Arrested for Distributing Sexually Explicit Matter to a Minor

ALPENA, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against
Children (ICAC) Task Force is announcing the arrest of Jacob Robert Hanna, 25 of Alpena, for distributing sexually explicit matter to a minor and using a computer to commit a crime.

Hanna was arrested following an investigation which was initiated when it was discovered Hanna was
distributing sexually explicit matter to a minor. A search of Hanna’s residence resulted in digital evidence
being seized.

Hanna was charged with one count of distributing sexually explicit matter to a minor and one count of
using a computer to commit a crime. Hanna was arraigned in the 88th Judicial District Court on
Wednesday, February 18.

The MSP ICAC Task Force was assisted by the Michigan Department of Corrections.
